Today, the State Examination Center (SEC) will hold entrance exams for higher education institutions for the I and IV specialty groups.
“Report” Exams will be held in Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Agstafa, Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Sheki, Barda, Goychay, Kurdamir, Shirvan, Salyan, Lankaran, Masalli and Khachmaz.
Exams start at 10:00.
15 minutes before the start of the exam – at 09:45, the exit regime ends, and participants arriving after that are not allowed into the exam building.
In order to prevent overcrowding, different entrance times for the exam participants have been determined and indicated on the exam participant’s admission slip. Therefore, it is necessary to come to the examination hall at the time indicated in the admit card.
Applicants must bring the following documents to the exam:
– Exam admit card;
– The original of the identity document.
a) citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including participants under the age of 16) an identity card;
b) foreigners and stateless persons have permission cards issued by the State Migration Service, and foreign citizens who have received refugee status and their family members have refugee cards;
– Participants who do not have a photo on their ID card, along with other documents, a certificate issued by the educational institution with their photo attached (a 3×4 cm photo of the participant is attached to the certificate and the photo is confirmed with a stamp).
110 exam buildings and 1,921 exam halls have been allocated in cities and regions where exams are held. 110 general exam supervisors, 310 exam supervisors, 2,392 supervisors-teachers, 269 employees of the graduation regime, and 110 building representatives were assigned to the management of exams.
A total of 25,339 applicants are expected to participate in today’s exams. Of them, 21,277 people applied for the I specialty group, and 4,062 people applied for the IV specialty group. Of the applicants, 22,959 (group I – 19,470, group IV – 3,489) are Azerbaijanis, and 2,380 (group I – 1,807, group IV – 573) are graduates of the Russian department. 14,253 (group I – 13,318, group IV – 935) of the examinees are boys, and 11,086 (group I – 7,959, group IV – 3,127) are girls.
22,384 people graduated from secondary schools this year, 2,771 graduated from previous years. 22 people are graduates of higher educational institutions, and 162 people are graduates of secondary specialized educational institutions. 90 applicants are citizens of foreign countries.
23 applicants with physical disabilities (group I visually impaired, hearing impaired and others) also take part in the exam. In order for these applicants to take the exam comfortably, separate halls have been set aside in the exam buildings, reading tasks for the visually impaired, filling in the answer sheet, etc. individual supervisors have been appointed for the works. Special conditions have been created for applicants with limited mobility to enter the building and the hall and move comfortably.
28 mass media representatives, including those from the regions, were accredited by the Ministry of Education and Culture to cover the exam.
