The Spanish parliament has supported the government’s plan to save gas.
“Report” informs that EFE published information about this.
The plan envisages reducing gas consumption based on the recommendations of the European Union, so that the country does not face a shortage of this energy resource next winter.
Private companies and government agencies are advised not to cool buildings below 27 degrees in summer. In winter, they should heat the buildings to a maximum of 19 degrees. It is also necessary to turn off the lighting of shop windows and empty buildings from 22:00.
It is believed that such measures will allow Spain to reduce gas consumption by 7%.
