Today, the first meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Reconstruction, Construction and Management Service of Karabakh Economic Region, established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Emin Huseynov, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region (except Shusha region). The members of the supervisory board were the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Samad Bashirli, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Sarvan Jafarov, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Namig Hummetov and the Deputy Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Azade Huseynova.
Opening the meeting, Emin Huseynov first expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, regarding the appointment of the chairman and members of the Supervisory Board of the Service. Then he specially emphasized the provision of the return of the displaced people to their native lands in order to perpetuate the victory of the Azerbaijani people, who achieved the greatest victory in the military and diplomatic fields. The chairman of the meeting informed the members of the Supervisory Board in detail about the directions of activity of the newly established public legal entity and the upcoming tasks and tasks to be done in connection with the return of the population in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region.
The meeting also discussed the most important issues at the initial stage in the field of organization of the service in order to ensure the implementation of the duties arising from the Decree. The main requirement was to perform the assigned tasks on time and in full.
In the end, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board gave relevant instructions regarding the measures to be taken to ensure the service’s operation as soon as possible.
