The parties to the conflict in Yemen have agreed to extend the ceasefire for another two months.
“Report” reports with reference to foreign mass media that Hans Grundberg, the special representative of the UN for Yemen, said this.
According to him, the ceasefire has been extended until October 2, 2022.
Grundberg emphasized that the agreement was reached a few hours before the end of the ceasefire.
It should be noted that the civil war in Yemen has been going on since 2015. According to UN reports, from the beginning of the war until the end of 2021, 377 thousand people were victims of military operations.
