Russia and Turkey intend to expand cooperation

A meeting was held between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Turkish Trade Minister Mehmet Mus.

“Report” informs that at the meeting, the parties expressed their intention to expand cooperation between the countries in the main areas of the economy.

It was noted that cooperation between Russia and Turkey is at a high level and continues to develop. The officials discussed the developing cooperation between the countries in the transport sector and logistics, industry and agriculture, and tourism.

It was noted that the energy sector occupies a special place in bilateral cooperation. Thus, the “Turkish Stream” and “Blue Stream” gas pipelines are successfully operating, and the construction of Turkey’s first nuclear power plant, “Akkuyu”, continues. According to the results of the meeting, the parties expressed their intention to expand the mutual activity of the countries in the main sectors of the economy.
