Residents of Baku were caught with 10 kilograms of drugs in Jalilabad.
About it “Report”a was informed by the Lankaran regional group of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
It was reported that more than 10 kilograms of various types of narcotics and psychotropic substances were detected and removed from illegal circulation as a result of operational measures conducted by Jalilabad District Police Department employees.
According to information, as a result of search and operation measures, previously convicted residents of Baku city Akshin Ganiyev and Fadail Ganiyev were detained in Jalilabad region. During the inspection, about 3 kilograms of heroin, 1 kilogram and 240 grams of opium, more than 5 kilograms of marijuana and 835 grams of methamphetamine were found and taken from them. During the investigation, it was determined that those persons obtained the said narcotic drug and psychotropic substance through a drug dealer living in one of the foreign countries and intended to organize its sale in the country.
In connection with the fact, necessary investigation and operational-search measures are being continued in the police department.
