More than 30 people died in fires in Madagascar

At least 32 people were killed in fires caused by bandits in Madagascar.

“Report” informs with reference to “Reuters” that this was stated by the Minister of National Defense of the island state.

“On July 29, robbers burned houses in the Ankazobe region, located 75 km from the country’s capital, Antananarivo. Among the dead were women and children,” the minister noted.

According to him, the bandits are part of the “Dakhalo” criminal group, which mainly steals farmers’ cattle.

The head of the Ministry of Defense said that security forces were sent to the area to arrest the organizers of the fire and bring them to justice.
