Ministry of Religion: “The reports of traffic jams and citizens staying on the road at Yaylaq Festival are unfounded”

“Some sites have published unfounded news about the presence of large traffic jams and citizens being stuck in traffic jams during the II Yaylaq Festival held in our country. First of all, I would like to note that the employees of the district police department have switched to a strengthened work mode in connection with the festival held in Goygol district, and appropriate measures have been taken to protect public order and ensure the safety of traffic.”

“Report” Eshkin Gasimov, chief inspector of the Ganja regional group of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, said this.

“These events include taking turns to let the cars coming to the festival into the festival area. I should also mention that the place where the festival is held is a mountainous area, and the road in that area is one-way, but it is hard winding and uphill. For those reasons, the area should be driven at a low speed even on normal days. In addition, I would like to emphasize that the rain yesterday evening caused the citizens to leave the festival area at the same time, but even then, the employees of the State Traffic Police Department of Goygol RPS took appropriate security measures and ensured the movement of citizens in a safe and orderly manner. I should also note that neither criminal nor administrative violations were recorded during the festival, and no traffic accidents occurred,” he added.
