Mevlud Çavuşoğlu discussed Ukraine with his Chinese counterpart

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed the restoration of the peace process in Ukraine and the export of Ukrainian grain with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu during the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) events held in Phnom Penh.

“Report” informs that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China released information about this.

Wang Yi said that China supports Turkey’s efforts to resolve the Ukraine crisis painlessly and plays a constructive role.

China’s foreign minister noted that Beijing positively evaluates Turkey’s role in promoting Russia-Ukraine negotiations, including during consultations on securing grain exports from Ukraine. He reminded that China also contributes to ensuring international food security.

“This year, despite the difficulties, our country provided more than 30,000 tons of food aid as humanitarian aid to developing countries that need it more. China will continue to contribute to the solution of this problem, including the platform of the G-20 countries.
