The joint exercises of the Thai and Chinese Air Forces codenamed “Hawk Strike 2022” have started at the Udorn base of the Royal Thai Air Force.
“Report” reports that “China.org.cn” published information about this.
According to the publication, fighter, fighter-bomber and early warning radar (AWACS) aircraft are participating in the exercises on the Chinese side, and fighter and early warning radar aircraft are participating on the Thai side.
During the maneuvers, air support, strikes on ground targets, small and large-scale troop deployment will be practiced.
“Joint exercises are aimed at strengthening mutual trust and friendship between the military and air forces of the two countries, and deepening bilateral practical cooperation for joint provision of regional security and stability,” the newspaper notes.
