The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced on its official website that the start of the World Cup in Qatar has been postponed.
“Report” reports that the Bureau of the FIFA Council has decided to postpone the match and the opening ceremony from November 21 to November 20. The Senegal-Netherlands match on November 21, Monday, has been changed from 13:00 to 19:00. In the opening match, the Qatar team will play against Ecuador on Sunday, November 20 at 19:00.
“This decision is made following an assessment of the competition and results, careful consultation and agreement with key stakeholders and the host nation. Ticket holders will be duly informed by email that the relevant matches have been rescheduled and that their tickets remain valid regardless of the new date,” – FIFA- it is said on the website.
The 2022 World Championship will be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
