Creditors have agreed to freeze Ukraine’s foreign debt payments until 2024

Creditors of the country, which accounts for about 75% of Ukraine’s external debt, have agreed to freeze payments on the debt until 2024.

“Report” “Bloomberg” reported on this on Wednesday with reference to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

According to the agency, the total amount of foreign debt of Ukraine is 19.6 billion US dollars. The decision to freeze payments will allow official Kyiv to keep $5.8 billion in debt repayment due by 2024.
