At least 11 people died as a result of landslides caused by heavy rain in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
“Report” informs that Congo’s “Okapi” radio station broadcasted information about this.
It was noted that heavy rains fell on Kamituge village of South Kivu province. As a result, water flows caused landslides and houses collapsed. Along with the dead, 7 more people are considered missing.
In the village, the rescuers are cleaning up the debris and providing assistance to the victims.
